How does Joiin ensure the security of my financial data?
Joiin operates entirely on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, leveraging its robust infrastructure to ensure high levels of security, reliability, and scalability. All data transfers are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, safeguarding information transmitted between your browser and Joiin’s services. Additionally, regular security audits are conducted by third-party providers like Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to maintain compliance with industry standards.
How does Joiin protect data during transmission and storage?
Joiin employs industry-standard encryption protocols to safeguard your data both in transit and at rest. All data transmitted between your browser and Joiin’s services is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, ensuring that information remains confidential during transfer. Additionally, data stored within Joiin is housed on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers, leveraging AWS’s robust security infrastructure to protect your information from unauthorized access. What measures are in place to protect user accounts?
User accounts in Joiin are managed using AWS’s built-in security services, adhering to best practices for authentication and access control. Users authenticate using a username and password combination, and it’s recommended to keep these credentials confidential. Furthermore, Joiin offers Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), requiring a unique, one-time code sent via SMS during login, adding an extra layer of security.
How is my data handled if I delete a company or cancel my subscription?
When you delete a company from Joiin, all associated financial data and access tokens used for API calls to services like QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero are fully removed. Upon subscription cancellation, once the billing period concludes, all your data is deleted from Joiin’s servers. This ensures that your information is not retained beyond its intended use.
Does Joiin store my credit card and billing information?
No, Joiin does not store your credit card details directly. All payment information is securely transmitted and stored by Stripe, Joiin’s third-party billing provider. This approach ensures that your sensitive financial information is handled with the highest security standards.
